“This Week at FBC Oxford” (Announcements & Opportunities)

For those who were unable to attend services, out of town, or sick at home, here is a list of announcements shared at church on Sunday.

There are also some ministry opportunities for those with a willing servant’s heart. How are you using your spiritual gifts to serve the body and glorify the Lord?

June 23—Movie in the Field 10 pm at FBCO athletic field; College & Career activity.

Neighborhood Bible Time—If you would like to participate in NBT this July, please complete a Volunteer Questionnaire in the foyer.

Scripture Memory—This week’s verses are Philippians 2:19-20  “But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state. For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.”

Church Work Day—A church work day is planned for Saturday, June 24, starting at 9AM. We would like to complete several tasks before we shift our focus to NBT canvassing. We will work on repair of the gravel service drive, trimming along the fence lines, and removing the old bleachers from the athletic field until they can be repaired. Please bring any tools you have that will be useful for these projects. It will be a great opportunity to serve together! Thank you!

Baptism Service—We are now making plans for a baptismal service at the end of the summer on August 27. Interested adults, or parents of children desiring to be baptized, should speak to Pastor Wiggins or contact the church office. A children’s baptism class will be held sometime in July.
